"Believe me, there are already plenty of people here who can fight. We need more scientific minds working on how to beat this place." ₪ • ღ • ✔ • ❖ • ♥ [artist]
We're too young to know what love is, our loss Cynical eyes scanning the room for meaning Maybe youth is wasted on the young, our loss Travel in packs, drinking our teenage spirit
Maybe we're all clean cut criminals Running fast to blur the visuals And I'm not sure I've got the heart for this Maybe that's the hardest part of it
If we're brave enough we won't save it up for later Come on show me what, come on show me what you made of I'll start the engine up, come on show me what you're made of We're not damaged goods, maybe we're just lonely people
Now I feel like we're total strangers, so what? Monopoly minds, following blind to danger This feels like a race against the clock, tick tock All of our tears are rubbing of silver metals
Do we have the time to justify All these sins we try to glorify And I'm not sure I've got the heart for this Maybe that's the hardest part of it We're not damaged goods, maybe we're just lonely people
STEVE ROGERS
One of the people Alphys met on her first day in Wonderland, Steve has been nothing but gracious, kind, and accepting of her since day one. She didn't initially catch on to his super-heroic status (Captain America ooohh my god) she tries not to let it cloud her opinion of him. Despite this, she's still pretty starstruck- he's strong, compassionate, and incredibly attractive always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needs it.
While Alphys isn't sure she understands Steve's unfailing confidence in what she does, she enjoys that he seems to always be willing to encourage or spend time with her. She wants to find a way to make it up to him, somehow, and prove his belief in her skills isn't unfounded.
