She has some sort of magically compelled loyalty. But we need a lot more information than we have.

A little bit of both. They don't deserve to be enslaved like this, and if we get them on our side, we'll strike a huge blow to her. Besides, I'm pretty sure they can help us.

No.

Some wouldn't trust it and would stay with the Queen to curry favor in case our actions turned out to be temporary or reversible. Some would stay neutral and choose survival over picking a side.

But they'd have a choice. That has to be worth something.

What I'm after right now is mainly knowledge. I came to you because you know science and magic, and you'll probably need an understanding of both to figure out how she controls them. But it's up to you. It's a risk. You have to decide for yourself if it's worth it.
